March/April/May Updates

This link is available until the end of the summer term. Late returns will be kept on the waiting list for one year.

- SCHOOL LUNCH MENUS were sent home before the Easter holidays but are also available here Click for School Lunch Menu (.pdf) .
- World Book Day was a great success with lots of children dressing up as wild and wonderful characters from their favourite books.
- P6 Have now started their buddy duties for the new intake of nursery pupils in Braehead nursery.
- Stationery shop is proving ever popular and is running every Friday morning in school.
- P4 have produced and are selling clocks with various designs and also The Ultimate Potato book as part of their enterprise lessons.
- The PTA Summer Fete will take place on Saturday 19th May 10:30 to 12:30.
- Latest Parent Council meeting minutes added in the Parent Council section –School,Parent and community groups.

Jan/Feb Updates
- Congratulations to P7 on an amazing Burns Supper –the supper,held on 2nd Feb was a fantastic evening of traditional Scottish food,verse and entertainment. Every child took part and the evening was a roaring success.
- Congratulations as well to all four teams who took part in the Stirling Schools Floor and Vault Gymnastics competition. Every single team worked hard,performed brilliantly and showed fantastic team spirit.
- Further congratulations go to the Level 1 and Level 2 teams (made up of Primary 5,6,and 7 pupils) who placed second over all and will compete at the National competition in Perth in March.
- P6 are currently enjoying taking part in the Max in the Middle program,helping them learn about the Health and Wellbeing area of out curriculum and about making healthy choices in everyday life. This program runs until 2nd March.
- P2 had a fantastic time in January and February with Active Stirling Dance sessions.
- P5 are currently taking part in Club Golf with Active Stirling.

December Updates
- Christmas service for SCHOOL ONLY (no parents –sorry)in church on 20th December –a collection will be taken for charity so please feel free to send a donation with your child. (Charity to be confirmed)
- Christmas party dates are shown on the calendar at the side of this homepage.
- Christmas Lunch will be on Thursday 22nd December –all orders for this should now be in.
- M&M productions will perform The Wizard of Oz on Friday 23rd. A donation of £3 has been requested by letter from parents.
- School will close at 1.15pm on Friday 23rd.
November Updates
- Please ignore previous parents evening dates shown on the site –correct dates now up –24th and 29th of November,letters going out this week,please contact the office if you do not receive these.
- Inservice days are Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th November –school is closed to children on these days.
- Thank you for a fantastic response to out Buckets of Love campaign.
- Healthy Braehead day was a fantastic day full of lots of fantastic activities which the children adored. Thank you to parents for all of their help with sending in food,gathering sponsors and especially those who came in and helped on the day.
- Dates for Gym Club meetings in the gym club section.
October Updates
- P3 Will lead the Harvest Service for the rest of the school on Tuesday 4th October.
- Active Stirling will be coming into school on 6th October and each class will have a chance to have a go at their ‘Dance Time’program.
- The PTA will be running School Discos on the following dates:
Tuesday 25th October P1 (6pm –7pm) P4/5 (7:30pm –8:30pm)………..Wednesday 26th October P2/3 (6pm –7pm) P6/7 (7:30pm –8:45pm)
